What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Possess the relevant Professional qualification: CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education, NNEB or B.Tec Nursery Nurse NVQ Level 3, B Ed Early Years or equivalent.
  • Previous primary school or childcare experience.
  • A proven ability to work on their own initiative.
  • A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.
  • The ability to use relevant technology/equipment.
  • A can-do attitude.
  • A commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.
  • A passion for ensuring SEND children’s needs are met and lead to better outcomes.
  • The ability to communicate well with other professionals and the family of the pupil and recognising the importance of good relationships with parents and carers.
