What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant committed and passionate about key stage two provision and is able to provide high quality support. Chorlton Park is part of the CLIC Co-operative Trust with three other primary schools (all based in the North-West). The core vision of CLIC is Changing Lives In Collaboration: 'Together We Make The Difference'.
We are looking for a TA who:
- can deliver high quality teaching and learning in Key Stage Two
- can deliver specific reading and writing support to raise the attainment of under-performing children and groups
- can enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning
- is able to assist in planning, preparation and delivery of lessons
- can work independently to deliver, monitor and evaluate the success of interventions
- can keep detailed notes on progress and attainment
- is able to work effectively as part of a team
- has excellent communication skills and is committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
- is willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community.
