What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors wish to appoint a permanent Teaching Assistant Level 3. You would be expected to be an enthusiastic member of our Foundation Stage team (likely to be situated in 2 year old provision) contributing to both the education and social development of the children and will include after school club provision (ages 2 - 11 years old). Royd Nursery Infant School is situated in the largely residential area of Deepcar, Sheffield.
To work at our school you will need to:
- Have a NVQ level 3 qualification for TA or equivalent
- Provide safe and stimulating wraparound care for 2 – 11 years children after school.
- Good knowledge of Foundation Stage curriculum
- Understand child development for young children
- Ability to plan and deliver activities for groups of children
- Identify barriers to learning
- Support children's emotional, social, and intellectual development through play and activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for children.
- Follow school policies and procedures regarding safeguarding and child protection.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure effective communication and care.
- Be able to use initiative
- Be committed to raising standards, conscientious and hardworking
