Teaching Assistant Level 3 - SEN Support job summary

As a Teaching Assistant (Level 3) at St Mary's, part of St Chad’s Academies Trust, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional needs to succeed academically, socially and emotionally. Working closely with teachers and colleagues, you will provide targeted support to individuals, helping to remove barriers to learning and enabling pupils to achieve their potential.

You will contribute to a calm, respectful and purposeful learning environment built on trust and harmony, where pupils feel safe, valued and confident. Through your dedication and positive relationships, you will support pupils’ engagement, independence and enjoyment of learning, adapting support to meet a range of needs, including SEND.

At St Chad’s, service and community are central to our ethos. You will work as part of a collaborative team of colleagues, supporting teaching and learning across the academy and contributing positively to academy life. You will be encouraged to share ideas, reflect on practice and take pride in supporting children and families.
