What skills and experience we're looking for
Kingsway Community Trust wishes to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and talented Level 4 teaching assistant to join the team at Green End Primary to plan, deliver and evaluate small group sessions to children with an EHCP who cannot access the main learning for their year group due to cognition. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen interest and passion for working with SEND children and be able to make a real difference to theirself-esteem and progress.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who is a nurturing, patient and positive individual. They will be strong at building relationships with pupils, staff and parents. A very strong commitment to raising aspiration and attainment in an urban setting is essential. This role includes lunchtime supervision. Strong literacy and numeracy skills are essential and successful completion of tests in these areas is part of the interview process.
Salary Grade 5, £29,064 pro rata, term time only, 21.25 hours per week equates to approximately £15,161 Per annum. Hours of work 9.00am until 1.15pm, Monday to Friday.
