Your new school
Lift Brockworth is a two form entry primary school on an ambitious journey to make a real difference to the lives of our children. About the role
You'll work in partnership with teachers to help students access the curriculum, build confidence and experience success. This is a chance to support young people with diverse learning needs, including SEND, while helping them grow as independent learners. Could this be the role where you truly make an impact?

Key responsibilities

  • Support students to access lessons and achieve their learning goals
  • Work with teachers to plan and assess high-quality learning activities
  • Guide individuals and small groups through targeted learning sessions
  • Build positive relationships and support wellbeing and behaviour
  • Work with teachers, pastoral staff and families to help all students succeed

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or above) or be willing to work towards functional skills. We're looking for someone who communicates well, shows empathy and patience, and enjoys working with young people. Basic IT skills are helpful, and a willingness to learn is essential. Do you stay calm under pressure and adapt well to different situations?

Lift Brockworth is a growing school which serves the community of Brockworth in Gloucester.
