What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you passionate about helping children thrive and reach their full potential? Longworth Primary School are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.

In this rewarding role, you will work with individual pupils and small groups, helping to support their learning and development. At times, you will also provide support within classrooms, working alongside teachers to ensure all children can succeed. This is a varied position that will see you working across the school with children of all ages.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a flexible and adaptable approach to supporting children and staff.
  • Understands the importance of building positive relationships with children to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Can use their own initiative and respond effectively to the needs of pupils.
  • Works well as part of a team and is keen to contribute to the wider school community.
