Teaching Assistant job summary

Required to start from 1st September 2026, an enthusiastic, caring and reliable person to join our happy, supportive team at Madresfield C E Primary School. The role will involve working in our EYFS class or 1:1 with specific children with educational needs. The role will include some lunchtime duties. The successful candidate will need to have:

Patience, a caring attitude and a desire to nurture children.

The ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the children across the school.

High expectations of all children both academically and socially.

A belief in a rounded education, with all areas of the curriculum being valued.

A desire to help children to find their unique talents.

A desire to promote good outcomes for all children and support our Christian vision.

An understanding of positive behaviour management techniques.

The hours will be 8.45am - 3pm x 3 days per week and 8.45am - 12.15pm x 2 days per week.
