Learning Support Assistant
Initially 26 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (includes 5 training days) To start September 2026
Pay Scale TA1 LEAD NJC Point 3-7 (£25615- £27275 FTE Starting Salary) Actual Salary £15528
We are looking for a confident Learning Support Assistant to support our SEND children who need additional support.
This role is temporary initially until 31st August 2027.
We will require a practitioner who is able to:
- support pupils to overcome challenges and barriers to learning
- work collaboratively with the class teacher , SENDCO and the children’s parents
- attend review meetings and meet targets set within the Educational Health Care Plan
- support pupils both inside and outside the classroom to facilitate positive social interaction with peers.
- have good communication skills and the ability to listen to the views of the children
- work with multiple agencies where appropriate to fully support children’s needs.
- have very high expectations of all pupils and be a good team contributor.
