Teaching Assistant job summary
In our Ofsted inspection, Mary Exton Primary School was described as "a happy place for pupils to learn and play," where "positive relationships are quickly forged between staff and children."
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team and contribute to our nurturing school environment.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, organised, flexible and committed to supporting all children to achieve their potential. They must be able to work under the direction of our class teachers and senior leaders, as well as on their own initiative.
They will be joining a friendly, hardworking and very supportive staff team, and will be able to work with our fantastic children who are kind, eager and willing to learn.
The post is initially for a fixed term contract until July 2026 in the first instance, but there may be an opportunity for this position to become permanent. This position is full time and will include supervising children during their lunch break. Please note that this post is during term-time only and so when looking at the salary, bear in mind that this is based on the full time equivalent.
