We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and committed teaching assistant to join our team to work in upper KS2, to start in January to cover maternity leave. This is expected to be until at least 31 August 2026. Experience is welcomed but full training will be given. You will be

You will:

Be required to provide support in small groups

Be a team player who is solution focused, patient and caring.

Have the ability to think on your feet and use your own initiative.

Have a good knowledge of or be prepared to learn about sensory strategies and how to use these to support children to self-regulate or be willing to learn.

Have an understanding of different communication methods.

Provide support for children by implementing an effective range of learning strategies to ensure outstanding learning outcomes for all students

Work closely with the class teacher

Liaise with teaching staff to plan and deliver classroom support

This post will be reporting directly to one of our Phase Leaders and will be based at Castle Hill.
