About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to provide excellent care and support for our children in Morley Church of England Primary Academy.
The successful applicant will form part of our committed and hard-working staff team, supporting learning in class and working with some of our children with SEND needs. We are ideally seeking someone with early years experience, who is imaginative and creative, and skilled at supporting children in learning through play, both indoors and outdoors.
Morley Church of England Primary Academy is a 5-class village primary school near Wymondham. We are a forward-looking and ambitious school, recently judged ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted (May 2025). We have a friendly, committed staff, who work together superbly as a supportive team, and the support of St Benet’s Multi Academy Trust. The school buildings have been extended over the years and there are lovely modern classrooms for our EYFS and infant children, a new hall and large grounds with extensive natural areas, woodland, field and play equipment. Morley is federated with Tacolneston Primary Academy, which also received a ‘Good’ Ofsted in 2025. Staff work closely together across the two schools, with a shared curriculum and leadership team.
Through our Christian ethos as a church school, we strive to see ‘beyond’ in the learning opportunities we provide so that children wonder at the world around them and learn to respect and care for one another. Morley has a positive community feel, with children enjoying playing and learning together across the age range. We have a creative curriculum and value children’s imagination and personal development as individuals, aiming to give all children a memorable and enjoyable experience throughout their primary school years.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Please contact the school office to book an appointment or speak with the Headteacher at Morley via - tacolneston@tacmor.stbenets.org or 01953 602397.
