We need enthusiastic, caring, resilient and fun people to come and work with our children and young people with SEN.
Parkside is an Outstanding Special School in the Golden Triangle part of Norwich.
We have pupils aged from 7years old to 18 years old and a two year post 16 provision to support young people with independence.
Parkside is a friendly school with a family feel to it.
Parkside likes to have fun and support our pupils to live life fully through supporting their learning in communication, self-regulation and independence.
We have a well-established career progression route for TAs and successful TA to Apprentice Teacher route for Teacher Training.
Hours of work, 8.45am-3.45pm. Weekly Staff Training on a Tuesday until 4.30pm is included.
The successful candidate will:
- are about providing the best opportunities for children with SEN
- Be calm and patient, especially when a child is showing dysregulated behaviour.
- have the highest expectations of children and support them to achieve these
- be a team player, think on their feet and show initiative
- understand the importance of safeguarding in all aspects of school life
- Be able to physically support pupils when needed (with appropriate training provided).
