We have a wonderful SEND room which has an outdoor space for children to run and thrive in. Would you like to become part of a team who are working with a very small group of lovely autistic young children who make you smile every day?

We require a Teaching Assistant with good communication skills, a welcoming and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism, while being able to relate well to both children and adults. This is an important post in the school and we want a reliable, well organised, good timekeeping, adaptable, caring person with, most importantly, a sense of humour. We would prefer to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant. Candidate’s experience working with children within a class with continuous provision are encouraged to apply for this role, especially if you have worked in Nursery or Reception.

Lakenham Primary and Nursery School is a lovely school within easy reach of central Norwich. To be successful in gaining this post, we require someone who can become immersed in a ‘can-do culture’ where nothing is seen by pupils or teaching staff as a potential barrier to successful learning.

We can offer you an enthusiastic and committed team within a friendly school community, where we laugh every day!

If you are interested in this position and would like further information please discuss with Mrs Cassandra Williams, Headteacher. Visits are welcome.
