Teaching Assistant/MSA job summary
We wish to appoint an outstanding individual to join our happy and positive school, supporting with lunchtime supervision and in the classroom, assisting the class teacher, supporting students.
The role is for 15 hours Monday - Friday and will be split as follows:
- 12-1pm MSA
- 1-3pm Teaching Assistant
We are looking for someone who:
- Has high expectations of what children can achieve
- Can inspire all children including those who have barriers to learning
- Can work as part of a team
We are looking for someone who ideally:
- Has a positive ‘can do’ attitude and is able to set clear, firm expectations for behaviour
- Has good English and Maths, essential to have a L2 qualification in both
- Is a nurturing, calm and forward-thinking individual
- Would embrace our school ethos
- Can communicate well and form positive relationships with children, parents and staff
- Has a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children and can demonstrate a willingness to learn
- Is flexible and adaptable to situations and willing to work as part of a team
