- Temporary until 31 August 2026 in the first instance

We are looking for a teaching assistant (with MSA responsibilities) to join our school. The role will involve supporting Key Stage 2 children (including those with Special Educational Needs) and leading interventions with individuals and small groups.
You must have:
- Minimum NVQ2 or equivalent (either already achieved, or currently working towards)
- Very good literacy/numeracy skills
- A good knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Relevant previous experience
- Good communication skills
- A sense of humour
- An understanding of safeguarding, child protection and health and safety requirements
- Sound ICT skills
You must be:
- Able to work Monday to Friday
- Willing to ‘go the extra mile’ for the children and the school
- Proactive: someone who uses their initiative rather than having to be directed to carry out every task
- Able to establish positive and supportive relationships with all pupils and staff
- Flexible and a good team player, committed to cooperative working
- A good role model for all pupils
- Positive, optimistic and enthusiastic.
