We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our successful team, based at Spixworth Infant School. You will work with children across the Infant Key Stages, providing high quality TA support to our children. The position is available now and we are aiming for a September start date.
Applicants will ideally have experience of working within a Primary school environment and be able to demonstrate their ability to work in an inclusive, nurturing, flexible and proactive way.

The successful candidate will:
- Be qualified to NVQ 2 or equivalent
- Have an inclusive and reflective mind-set
- Have a strong commitment to supporting the whole child
- Be patient, calm and caring
- Understand that children come from a range of contexts with a range of experiences and value these
- Have a desire and the capability to ensure that children achieve their potential
- Have a secure understanding of supporting the Primary curriculum
- Be able to establish positive and supportive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Be a role model in their attitude to others and in their conduct around school, relentlessly positive to everyone
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to use own initiative
- Have strong numeracy and literacy skills
- support the wider life of the school through after school activities and events
