Teaching Assistant

One year, fixed term

32.5 hours a week, term time only

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is inspirational, forward thinking and prides themselves in working collaboratively, supporting children in building foundations for happy and successful life-long learners. This is on a fixed term one year contract.

You will be friendly, enthusiastic and be able to build a rapport with pupils. You will be expected to be a good role model to our pupils working with them in a reliable, committed and dedicated way, showing a genuine interest in their continuing development and well-being.

The role will be supporting the teaching staff in the development and education of pupils including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate.

We are looking for someone who :

  • Has an NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Has high expectations and an unwavering belief in the potential of every child
  • Can work in a creative and inspirational way with high expectations for all
  • Be committed to raising standards for all our children
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Be a team player who will work well with colleagues
  • Will be committed to the strong Christian ethos of our schools
  • Speak fluent English as in accordance with part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016)
