You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide support for pupils with, and without, EHCPs, helping them to access the curriculum, develop independence, and thrive socially and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
  • Prepare and organise classroom materials and resources
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents when required.

  • English and Maths GCSE, Grade C/4 or equivalent required
  • Experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with EHCPs desirable

This position is 32.5 hours per week, term time, temporary to August 31st 2027 Early applications are encouraged. We reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date of the advert.
