What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work 5 mornings a week in a Year 5/6 class, to start as soon as possible.Hours of work are 8:45am – 1.15pm

This position is offered on a temporary basis, in the first instance, until the end of the summer term 2025.

The successful candidate will need experience of working with children across the primary phase, especially KS2. Also, be enthusiastic, flexible and patient. The role will involve working alongside the class teacher to support learning for all children and supporting children with special educational needs within the class. A sense of humour is essential, as is the ability to work in a team and the willingness to adapt your practice to suit the child’s individual needs.
