Level 2 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated teaching assistant to work in our school. The role would suit someone who enjoys building close relationships with children and supporting them in their learning. This is a fixed-term contract, initially to the end of August 2026, with the potential to extend, depending on the needs of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently, use your own initiative, and collaborate as part of a team
  • Be passionate about giving all children the best experiences, opportunities, and learning
  • Remain calm under pressure and support children's learning and development

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant/Early Years Practitioner or similar qualification
  • Ideally, experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs

Desirable Qualities:

  • Ability to work collaboratively and use your own initiative
  • Passion for providing the best possible learning experiences for all children
  • Calm and resilient under pressure
