Teaching Assistant (Part-Time) job summary
Following the departure of one of our long-standing TAs who has left us to start a family, a rare opportunity has arisen to join our school on a permanent, part-time basis.
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our committed staff team, to support children on an individual and small group basis.
Your core hours equate to 17.5 hours per week, attracting the advertised salary of £9,677 per annum. However, as part of this role, we are seeking someone who can also provide some support with Breakfast Club, After School Club and lunchtime supervision; these extra hours will be negotiated between the successful applicant and Headteacher, and the annual salary will be updated to reflect these additional hours and duties. The hours will form part of the overall employment contract.
What we can offer you:
- A school where the wellbeing of each individual is at the heart of our interactions. We instil in our children a love of learning, and a sense of self and social responsibility during their time with us.
- A school which helps children ‘value who they are and who they can become’
- A school where staff wellbeing is a priority
- A strong ethos based on Christian values and principles
- A strong, creative and supportive team
- Positive relationships with children and their families
Please see attached job description for for a more detailed overview of the role along with the person specification
