We are looking for an excellent 1:1 teaching assistant to join our school with an immediate start.  

Just over 30 minutes of picturesque driving from Norwich and Great Yarmouth (travelling in the opposite direction to most cars!) is AIM Federation - an established federation of six schools and an SEMH Base located along the beautiful North Norfolk Coast and the Norfolk Broads.  

Not only will you be joining a dedicated and hardworking team at Freethorpe Primary, you’ll be collaborating with a wider team of around 130 staff in total, across the seven schools, working together and striving to deliver the very best education for our local communities. 

We are looking for candidates who;

  • Have experience working with Key Stage 1/2 children.
  • Have experience working with children with additional needs and possess a range of strategies to support children with challenging behaviour
  • Good mathematical and English skills
  • Can form positive relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Are able to support the children within the class and during break times.
  • Have a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children
  • Willingness to offer intimate care is expected
  • Able to use their initiative to support learning & behaviour
  • Be adaptable to situations and willing to work as part of a team
  • Are willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary
  • A very good sense of humour!
