What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and hardworking Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our fantastic team to provide either general classroom support or working with small groups of children with special education needs as when required by the school. This is an exciting time to join the Race Leys Infant School family who are on their journey to improving learning opportunities and provision for the children. Our school community deserves the absolute best and our new Co-Headteachers and staff have been on a rapid school improvement journey. We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistants to help all of our learners thrive.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:
- -Have an NVQ Level 2 childcare related qualification (or equivalent).
- Have a good understanding of how children learn and develop.
- Ideally have experience of working in a primary school.
- Are able to support the class teacher in meeting the needs of all children.
- Are able to work with individuals and small groups of children.- Are able to plan programmes of work for focus groups of pupils under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO.
- Are motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable.
- Can show initiative and are able to work as part of a team.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Experience of supporting SEND would be an advantage but is not essential.
