• Actual salary: £8,102.16 to £8,729.74
• Pay scale: Grade 6, SCP 12 (dependent on experience)
• Hourly rate: £14.46 to £15.58 - dependent on experience

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for the right, experienced person to join our friendly, ambitious team. The successful applicant will play a key role in enhancing the learning and emotional development of our children. This could be supporting the whole class, small groups or one to one support with a child with specific needs.

The role may include intimate care and therefore applicants must be confident with this aspect of the job.

The applicant must have English and Maths skills equivalent to Grade 4 or above in GCSE and good communication skills.

We are a small school situated on the outskirts of the city, mainly serving the Redbridge and Millbrook neighbourhoods. We are next to the bustling Southampton docks and a short distance from the New Forest. Redbridge Primary School first started providing education within the community in 1859. In 2010, we were delighted to relocate to a fantastic new building, well-equipped for giving our children what is needed for effective 21st century education. We now have extensive outside space which is highly beneficial for our children.
