Trumpington Park Primary School has vacancies for Teaching Assistant staff - these are term-time only roles with brilliant opportunities.
Positions available:-
32.5 hours (Teaching Assistant) and 5 hours (Midday Supervision) per week. Part-time roles may also be considered.
Actual Salary: £18,841 - £19,445 (Grade 5, Points 5-7) Meridian Trust Support Salary Scale (Level 2 Teaching Assistant). This salary is based on 32.5 hours per week.
In addition, Midday Supervisor actual salary is £2,766 - £2809 (Grade 3, Points 2-3) Meridian Trust Support Staff Salary Scale. This salary is based on 5 hours per week.
These are opportunities to make a real difference to the learning and progress of our pupils, working to provide one-to-one and group support and teaching. You will be part of a fantastic team of teaching and support staff! You will be adapting teaching resources, thinking of new ways to learn, being fun and creative in your approach and adaptable to children's needs. Our Teaching Assistants are highly valued in our school - you will work closely with our SENDCo and SEND team to provide our children with the best possible educational opportunities. An element of your duties will also include preparation of fantastic teaching resources/class displays. You will be responsible to the Headteacher.

The ideal candidate:
Will possess GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
Experience of supporting pupils with SEND and/or behavioural needs
Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
Can be adaptable, take on board new ideas and think on their feet!
An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
