What skills and experience we're looking for
About the role
This role will suit someone looking for a varied, busy and active role, making a difference for amazing children and young people. Your week will involve supporting learning inside and outside of the classroom from hydrotherapy to horse-riding, trampolining to travel training, feeding to phonics. The successful applicant will confidently and competently be able to work with children and young people with a range of needs, have a caring, positive approach to supporting behaviour and be flexible about working across the whole school.

Samuel Pepys is a Cambridgeshire area special school for pupils aged 3 – 19 years living in St. Neots and the surrounding area. All the pupils have special educational needs, which may include physical, sensory, communication and health needs. Our school is growing and we wish to appoint team players whose skills and experience will contribute to meeting the needs of every pupil.
Hours and Salary
- 32.5 hours per week 8.40am to 3.25pm plus a meeting each Monday until 4.00 or 4.40pm
- Term time including 3 professional learning days,
- Salary: Level 1 or 2 £23,500 to £23,893 FTE (£19,581- £19,909 Actual) dependent upon relevant qualifications and experience.
- Start date May 2024.
