Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking for positive and inspiring Teaching Assistant to join the
teams across both our primaries on a one year fixed term contract. The role
will support the professional work of teachers as directed.

The successful candidate will:

  • Ideally be a qualified NVQ Level 3
    Teaching Assistant or a graduate with good standards of literacy and numeracy.
  • Be committed to the school’s high
    standards of teaching, learning and professional development.
  • Have excellent communication skills, a
    warm and caring personality.
  • Understand the importance of an
    inclusive environment and high expectations on pupil behaviour.
  • Have a welcoming and friendly approach
    with a high level of professionalism.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of
    pupils in adherence with the school procedures while in play areas, the dining
    hall, classrooms or in transit between

Experience working in a classroom environment is highly
desirable and the ability to communicate clearly and work with the best
interests of the pupils.The successful candidate will be required to work
across both schools at the Headteacher’s discretion.
