What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant, Science to join our committed team in the Faculty of Learning.

In addition to your Science specialism, key requirements are:

  • a passion for supporting SEND including emotional, social and mental health needs and second language learners
  • the ability to build positive relationships with young people
  • an ability to adhere to the school behaviourpolicy
  • a sensitive, caring and patient approach
  • the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • a firm commitment to ensuring that regardless of gender, ethnicity or religion students achieve to the best of their ability
  • familiarity with special educational needs, neuro-diversity or disability, either personally or through someone close to you, would also be a real advantage.
