Teaching Assistant - SEN 1-1 job summary

The successful candidate will:

  • have substantial experience of working with SEN children and the graduated approach
  • have energy, passion, patience and creativity to enable children to achieve their full potential
  • have experience of working with children who demonstrate demand avoidance
  • be adaptable and have knowledge of working with children who have complex emotional need
  • have a positive and forward-thinking approach to school life and the ability to work in a team
  • have high expectations of themselves and others.
  • be able to use initiative and work independently as well as under the direction of the class teacher
