We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, patient and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in the upper end of the primary phase.

This is a fixed-term position, for 30 hours per week until 17 July 2026, working closely with class teachers, the SENCO and external professionals to support the child’s learning, emotional regulation and inclusion within the classroom and wider school life.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of working with children in a primary school setting, ideally in Key Stage 2
  • Be calm, nurturing and consistent, with high expectations and a positive approach
  • Be able to support learning, independence and emotional well-being
  • Work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with staff and parents
  • Be flexible, resilient and committed to supporting children with additional needs
