What skills and experience we're looking for
Kingsway Community Trust wishes to appoint highly motivated, dynamic and talented teaching assistants to work in EYFS & KS1 on a one to one basis, in and out of class to support children with complex SEND needs. The roles will be based at Green End Primary, with the contract in place whilst the named pupils remain in the school or in the event that their EHCP funding changes whichever comes first.
The successful candidates will have experience of working in a school setting with pupils with Special Educational Needs. They will be strong communicators who are nurturing, patient and positive individuals. They will be strong at building relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Strong literacy skills are essential and successful completion of tests in these areas is part of the interview process.
Level 1, Grade 2 £24,404 pro rata, 28.75 hours per week, term time only equates to apx £17,242 per annum.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.45am – 3.00pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunchbreak.
First stage assessment date: 23rd June
Interview date: 24 June
This position is subject to 2 professional references and DBS clearance.
