Teaching Assistant SEND job summary
SEND Teaching Assistant
We are looking to recruit a teaching assistant to work with a child with communication difficulties currently in Year 1.
The successful applicant will work towards the outcomes set out in the EHCP, by supporting the pupil individually, within small groups and within the classroom.

Blue Coat School, founded in 1693, is a popular and successful Voluntary Aided school situated in the town of Wotton-under-Edge. Situated 10 minutes from the M5 and only a short drive from Stroud, Tetbury and Thornbury, our school is within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The school site is now 20 years old and is surrounded by the views the area is renowned for.
Our admissions number is 45 and we currently have 307 children on roll organised into ten classes comprising of:-
• 1 x Reception unit
• 3 x Mixed Year 1 & 2 classes
• 3 x Mixed Year 3 & 4 classes
• 1 x Year 5, 2 x Mixed Year 5 & 6
