Teaching Assistant (SEND) - Level 3 job summary
We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The post-holder will work alongside teachers and pastoral staff as part of the school’s Inclusion Team to enable access to learning for pupils with a wide range of needs. The successful applicant will be required to promote high expectations and have the ability to support pupils to access the curriculum effectively. This will involve in-class support, one-to-one sessions and small group work as directed. The role also entails liaising with colleagues, parents/carers and a range of support networks.
