32.50 hours per week
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child who presents Autism and is non-verbal. This is a long-term, term time only role, ongoing for the whole academic year, as consistency for the child is absolutely key.

What are we looking for?
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or a similar relevant qualification.
- Relevant experience working with SEN students in a school environment.
- Qualifications such as TeamTeach or training in Positive Behaviour Management are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with expertise in non-verbal methods like Makaton and PECS being highly desirable.
- Proven ability to provide support to SEN pupils in one-on-one, small group, and whole-class settings.
- A strong team player, able to work effectively with colleagues and follow the class teacher or SENDCo instructions.
