Working Pattern: This is a part-time, permanent position working 19 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
South Brent Primary School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant.
We require an individual who is enthusiastic, conscientious, self-motivated and would like to provide a key role in enabling access to learning for our pupils. This role will involve working 1:1 with pupils who have recognised special educational needs, as needed, including aspects of intimate care.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills; and be able to undertake work, care and support programmes as directed by the class teacher and SENCo. We are very proud of our inclusive school and our support staff team play a vital role in enabling our children to succeed.
In the first instance this post will be based in our Early Years Foundation Stage class, an interest in this area is desirable, although not essential as training will be provided.
South Brent Primary School is a member of Ventrus Multi Academy Trust, a group of Devon schools who actively work together to ensure a broad and balanced curriculum meets the needs of the all pupils.
