Teaching Assistant job summary

St Alban’s Catholic Primary, in Cambridge, is a thriving school situated in the heart of Cambridge. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, flexible and enthusiastic part-time teaching assistant to join our friendly and committed team. We strive to continuously be a fully inclusive school and are seeking a flexible teaching assistant that is able to support a wide range of pupil need within our school.

Key skills required:

• Experience of working or volunteering with children is desirable.
• High expectations of pupil outcomes and progress.
• Encourage excellent behaviour and act as a role model for our pupils.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• A flexible, collaborative and supportive approach.
• Educated to GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously C) in English and Maths.
• First aid training, or willingness to complete it.

The position is part-time, for 3 days per week.
