Teaching Assistant job summary
We have a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant. If you feel that learning should be exciting, imaginative, enjoyable and accessible for all - this could be the job for you!
You will work under the instruction and guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work and support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils, which will assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area. This is a term-time role working five days per week.
Experience of working with children in a classroom setting is desirable, but not essential as training can be given. We require someone who is understanding, patient, enthusiastic, highly motivated and who is a good communicator and a team player. We are looking for someone who can enhance the learning experience for a pupil and is able to nurture their potential. The successful applicant will be passionate about transforming the lives of children.

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term-time only
Grade: Grade 4 or 5 depending on experience
