Job summary;

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team.

This role requires a committed and adaptable individual who can work with both groups and individual pupils to support their learning. You will be working closely with children who have additional educational needs, either within the classroom, in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis. Strong teamwork skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and take initiative. The successful candidate will also need excellent communication skills and will work closely with teaching staff to provide high-quality support.

Key duties include:

  • Supporting learning across the curriculum
  • Working with pupils with additional needs
  • Promoting inclusion and positive behaviour
  • Assisting with classroom organisation and resources
  • Providing care and encouragement to help every child thrive

The jobholder must demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This will involve undertaking annual Safeguard training and using school reporting systems for any Safeguard concerns.
