We are looking for a hardworking and committed person to take on the vital role of Teaching Assistant. The post holder will enthuse and inspire pupils to foster a love for learning, supporting them in making good progress. Under the direction of teaching staff you will work with the whole class, small groups and on a 1:1 basis, delivering interventions and other curriculum activities to enable the pupils to grow into confident, capable and independent learners. We are looking for someone with experience of working with children and who fully embraces inclusion.

  • Will be inspirational in your teaching support and involve the children as independent, successful and active learners
  • Has high expectations and will nurture and encourage our children to fulfill their potential
  • Has good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Has an awareness of child/young person’s development and learning
  • Has an understanding that children/young people have differing needs
  • Is patient, able to stay calm, and listen to pupils views
