Teaching Assistant job summary

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and conscientious Teaching Assistant to work across our nursery setting.

Part Time 30 hours per week. Working hours Monday-Friday, 08.30am - 15:30pm

This is a Fixed Term Role to 31/8/2026 due to being dependent on funding.

Pay Scales: Grade 5 Scale Point 6 - £25,989 per annum

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience or knowledge of classroom support.

  • Have a good knowledge of EYFS.

  • Hold relevant qualifications.
