What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Support Assistant to join our successful, friendly and inclusive school.

The post will require support of children within the class, at lunchtimes, on the playground and during individual and small group interventions.

The successful applicants will be:

  • Committed to working as part of a team to secure the best outcomes for our children
  • Highly motivated, with experience of working with children to help remove barriers to learning
  • Physically fit and able to sit on the floor to play with young children

They will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to raising standards with high aspirations for all children
  • An ability to work using their own initiative and respond to the ability of others
  • At least GCSE English and Maths qualifications
  • A sense of humour
