Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Weeks: Term Time Only (39 weeks)

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support high-quality teaching and learning across our school. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of our pupils, including those with additional needs.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has significant experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally across a range of age groups

• Holds a relevant qualification (minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

• Can support the planning and delivery of learning activities in collaboration with the class teacher

• Is confident working with individuals, small groups and whole class settings

• Is proactive and able to use their initiative to support pupil learning and wellbeing

• Understands and implements behaviour management strategies positively and consistently

• Has experience supporting children with SEND and is open to following advice from external agencies

• Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Is caring, adaptable, and committed to inclusion

• Will make a positive contribution to our school community and uphold our Catholic ethos
