We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Teaching Assistant to join our successful and happy staff team. The successful applicant will be working with children in class as well as with small groups and individuals to support their learning (some with additional need). Hours of work, 8.30am till 1.30pm (25 hours per week).

The successful candidate will:

  • have experience of working with children and supporting their learning
  • have strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • have the highest expectations of children and support them to achieve these
  • be a team player, think on their feet and show initiative
  • understand that children come from a range of contexts with a range of experiences and value these
  • be a role model in their attitude to others and in their conduct around school, relentlessly positive to everyone 
  • support the wider life of the school through after school activities and events
  • understand the importance of safeguarding in all aspects of school life
