Due to internal promotion, Stevenage ESC is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to assist our Teaching staff across KS3/4 lessons around the Centre.
The ESC caters for young people who have been excluded from mainstream schools. Our job is to re-engage them with education so that they can have a successful future.
To be successful in this role, the applicant must be a strong team player who can work off their own initiative whilst remaining a confident, empathetic and positive character in the Centre.
This is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate as we are developing our KS4 provision. You will be joining a dedicated team of inspirational educators who always put young people at the heart of everything they do. Preference will be given to the right person irrespective of previous experience in a specialist setting.
Job Description and Person specification can be found at the Teach in Herts website - see link below.
If you need any further information, please email admin@stevenage-esc.herts.sch.uk in the first instance. Visits to the Centre are welcomed.
Applications via the Teach in Herts website should be received no later than
12noon on Friday 10th January 2020
Candidates selected for interview will be contacted by 5pm on Monday 13th January and interviews will be held on Wednesday 15th January 2020
with a start date as soon as possible thereafter, subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks.
