What skills and experience we're looking for
Required as soon as possible, an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support the Maths department providing specialist in-class and group support to students.
Having achieved the best results in the school’s history in summer 2023, followed by a visit from Ofsted in May 2024, where we were judged as a strong ‘Good’ in all areas, Buckler’s Mead Academy is going from strength to strength.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide support to students during lessons, planned 1:1 and small group activities
- Assist and support teaching staff in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment, in accordance with lesson plans

Originally established as Buckler's Mead School in 1957, Buckler’s Mead Academy is now a successful 11- 16 academy where we pride ourselves on providing an inspiring education for all.
