Teaching Assistant (TA1) job summary

Moorcroft School is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work on either of its two sites at Bramble Close, Uxbridge or Eden Pinkwell Satellites, Hayes. We are seeking applications not only from people wanting to develop as teaching assistants, but also from graduates who are considering a teaching career in special education.

We cater for a range of special needs including Severe Learning Disabilities, Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities and Autistic Spectrum disorders. Some of the pupils may also have additional sensory or physical impairments, or challenging behaviour. We are looking for applicants who can inspire young people to achieve their very best.

Eden Pinkwell Satellites is an offsite provision for pupils in years 7 and 8. Bramble Close is the main site for pupils in years 9 to 14.

We are part of the Eden Academy Trust, which is a multi-academy trust incorporating special schools in the London Boroughs of Hillingdon, Harrow and in the North of England.
