At St Oswald’s CE Primary School and Nursery, we are looking for a talented and committed Teaching Assistant to join our well-established team to support children in their learning and development in the Nursery and whole school. We are looking for someone who has the children at the heart of every decision and who can be creative, as well as having a good understanding of how to further children's learning. You will work closely with the class teacher to provide a rich and stimulating environment to enable our children to thrive. Knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum is essential.
St Oswald’s CE Primary is a one-form entry primary school with approximately 157 children with an age range of 3-11 years whom we are immensely proud of. Our children are a credit to the school! We are a school where the staff work as a team and this is reflected in the way the children behave, work, and interact with one another.

We are looking to appoint a dedicated teaching assistant with excellent classroom practice, who:
is a great practitioner who demonstrates excellent delivery of provision in the school
has high expectations for all pupils’ achievement and behaviour
has a good understanding of assessment for learning strategies
is willing to contribute to the life of the school and its community
has a good knowledge of Early Years and Development Matters documentation or would be willing to learn
