Working pattern

Full time: 32.5 hours per week, typically 8.30am – 3.40pm, Monday – Friday term time plus 5 staff learning days; 39 weeks per annum.

Pay scale

Starting salary for a full-time post £25,989 to £28,142 starting point depending on experience and qualifications. The actual salary based on the hours and weeks worked will be within the range £19,777 to £21,415 subject to any continuous service.

What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to relate well to both children and adults, be able to work constructively as part of a team and have a goal driven approach to solving problems. The School has recently had extensive building work completed and you will be based in brand new state of the art facilities as part of the SEN Team, as well as working in spacious new classrooms across the school throughout the day.

What the school offers its staff

We are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support the learning and progress of students with SEN. Predominantly this role will exist to support identified students with their learning experience throughout the school day. This will involve working alongside subject staff to plan and support work within the classroom which meets the needs of individual learners with SEN, including students of particular focus on our SEN register for: Cognition and Learning/Social, Mental and Emotional Health/Communication and Interaction/Sensory and / or Physical impairment.
