Teaching Assistant job summary
Thames View Primary School seeks to appoint a Teaching Assistant, to start from April 2025.
This position involves supporting in class as well as during play and lunch duties. The successful candidate should be willing to work across all key stages (EYFS, KS1, and KS2) and be a committed team player with excellent organisational skills. They will have the ability to effectively support teaching and learning while building strong relationships across the school.
This is a part time (0.65 FTE), permanent role, Term Time Only +1 week, paid based on the NJC pay scale D2 points 4-11 (FTE £24,404 - £27,269 – actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis).
The working pattern for will consist of 27.5 hours across 5 days a week, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
Thames View Primary School is a two-form entry school in Rainham, Kent. We are a ‘Good’ school (OFSTED 2020).
